MUMBAI: Hina Khan has made a strong place for herself in the television world. After wooing audience by her performance in TV soaps like Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, she stepped into the world of cinema.
She has acted in the film Lines and has also bagged a pivotal role in Vikram Bhatt’s next.
Her latest big achievement is her debut at Cannes 2019. However, her Cannes debut has apparently turned into a controversial story.
Well, recently, Filmfare Editor Jitesh Pillai took to Instagram and shared a picture of Hina posing at Cannes 2019 red carpet. He captioned the picture as “Cannes has suddenly become Chandivali studios kya?”
His post disappointed Hina’s friends and colleagues from the industry. They slammed him for his post. Actors like Arjun Bijlani, Gauahar Khan, Karanvir Bohra, Nia Sharma, Nakuul Mehta, and even Ekta Kapoor came in support of Hina.
Now, the editor took to the Instagram story again and apologized to Hina. The actress too responded.
