Special instructions given to the people present on the sets
Safety measures and disaster management is one of the most important concerns for several TV shows these days. There have been many instances when fire breaks out on the sets of show and actors escape with minor injuries.
Whatever the form of injury, it is saddening.
Several shows like ‘Devanshi’, ‘Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’ etc… went through an unanticipated fire eruption on sets recently. Though there were no casualties, chances cannot be taken when it comes to several lives involved.
According to an entertainment portal, taking safety measures into consideration, the makers of Sony TV’s popular show, ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ decided to conduct safety fire drill for the cast and crew of the show.
In an attempt to create awareness and alertness, the makers decided to take this applaudable initiative which ensures the safety of human lives.
From getting a Fire Marshall to doing mock drills and evacuation techniques, the people on the sets were enlightened with the teachings.
We called Jagat Rawat aka Bijoy, who said, “Its actually a routine drill by the government to make everyone aware so that they can take precautions. They do it in summers where fire fighters give demo to everyone.”
We also asked that not many shows follow it and ‘Kuch Rang..’ is one of the few shows to follow it, to which he said, “It’s true.. But it is important because almost 150 people work here and there is hot wood all around. These factors cannot be ignored.”
We also tried calling Shaheer Sheikh and Erica Fernandes, however, they remained unavailable.
Kudos to the team for taking this initiative!
